Modern life seems to have reduced our ability to connect on a personal level. The rise of smartphones and social media has become a deceptively convenient way to interact with each other. Too many of us are turning to devices instead of people for comfort - I'm hoping to change that.
I approach each and every client with compassion, integrity and honesty. You will find I am very much focused on the here and now, and on the relationship that develops between us — as well as thinking about present difficulties and how they may relate to the past. You will find that I engage in each session with openness and curiosity.
Of course you don’t need to be experiencing psychological distress to begin therapy. However, most people end up seeking help from a professional because their previous ways of coping are not working as well as they used to. Either way, feel free to get in touch so we can talk about your current situation and how I can be of help.
I have been working in the mental health field since 2012, beginning by supporting people in emotional distress at Samaritans before moving from a local counselling agency in Surrey to private practice in the City of London. More recently I have taken my services online to support people all over the World. Embracing new technology has enabled me to reach more people than ever before!
